Honor has recently unveiled the MagicPad 13. The tablet features a 2.8K display with a fast 144 Hz refresh rate, all packed with an enormous battery. 

The MagicPad 13, presented alongside other new devices by Honor, has opted for the Snapdragon 888 chipset, offering users the choice between 8 GB, 12 GB, or 16 GB of RAM, coupled with either 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.

With its 13-inch display, the MagicPad 13 lives up to its name. Honor proudly announces that the large TFT panel is officially IMAX Enhanced certified, a first for tablets. This exceptional display showcases a native resolution of 2,880 x 1,840 pixels, complemented by a remarkable 144 Hz refresh rate.

The color accuracy is truly outstanding, with Delta E <1 color deviations, HDR10 support, and a peak brightness of 700 nits.

The MagicPad 13 is designed to provide an immersive audio experience with its eight speakers discreetly integrated into its sleek 7 mm chassis. 

To ensure uninterrupted usage, the tablet comes with a massive 10,050 mAh battery that supports rapid 66 W wired charging via its USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. Additionally, the device features a 13 MP rear-facing camera and a 9 MP front-facing camera, despite the distinctive circular housings on its rear panel.

Starting on July 20, the MagicPad 13 will be available in China, allowing users to choose from three elegant color options: Moonlight, Sky Blue, and Starry Gray. As for the pricing, Honor has unveiled the following configurations:

  • 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage – CNY 2,999 (~US$416)
  • 12 GB RAM/256 GB storage – CNY 3,299 (~US$458)
  • 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage – CNY 3,699 (~US$513)

For now, there is no official information about a global launch, but fans of cutting-edge technology worldwide eagerly await the MagicPad 13’s availability beyond the Chinese market.
