According to a source from 9to5Google, the Pixel Watch 2 is expected to launch alongside the Pixel 8 smartphone, possibly in October 2023.
While the exact name of the watch is not confirmed, it is speculated to follow the numbering pattern of Google’s Pixel phones or adopts a naming convention similar to Apple’s Series.
The quick turnaround for the Pixel Watch 2 comes after several years of speculation and rumors surrounding Google’s first smartwatch. In fact, Google had previously clarified that it would not release a wearable in 2018, dispelling the initial rumors.
